New Years Resolutions

I was unaware that I had signed on for this, but apparently one of my new year’s resolutions is to stretch along with my wife, if that picture is any indication. However, we should probably take that picture with a grain of salt since it shows me as having black hair, three nostrils, and no teeth.

I decided to not do a resolution this year, but to pick one word and try to apply it more fully to my life. Listening to God and seeing what He has to bring through it and how it can be applied more.

Great idea, Krystin! So is “listening to God” what you are trying to apply more or are you in the process of listening to God to get direction on the word for the year? PS. what happened with the para app?

A local radio show had callers tell what their resolutions for 2011 were. One lady said what Krystin said….focus on one word daily for the entire year. Her word was kindness. I thought it was a good idea.
My legalistic resolution: 3 veggies and 2 fruits every day. The fruits are easy.

Jerry, You do have teeth. They are not showing as you are either gasping for breath or yelling at Lisa!! If I were you I would be more concerned with the lack of hands.

Noche: Jerry has hands. He just has no fingers. (And he is distressed because Lisa’s shorts fit better than his. That is why he is gasping.)
(Perhaps my resolution should be to GET A LIFE… :) )

I loved the way you did this blog! Very creative! I decided to not have any resolutions this year as it is very defeating when they are the same every year because I fail so miserably at reaching them. I think goals are awesome and resolutions can ignite desire for change but my resolve never seems to remain steady. So..instead of a list of dos and dont’s for 2011, I am concentrating on one are of life and that is surrendering daily to God. Not sure what that will look like or how successful I will be, but am excited about the possibilities.
