The Casting Dock

another wedding, y’all!

This past weekend one of my husband’s best friends (and one of my favorite people!) GOT MARRIED! You’ve seen/heard of him and his beautiful bride before, once when they got engaged and then again when we snapped some fun engagement shots. Well, this past Saturday was the big day. I have been looking forward to this one for some time–in part because I knew how very, very excited (and very, very ready) Keith and Sarah were and in part (selfishly) because I would get to spend the weekend celebrating with a whole host of my favorite people, the usual suspects–my college friends. Long, leisurely 3+ hour breakfasts at our hotel, just drinking coffee and catching up on life served as delicious bookends to the wedding weekend. And the wedding itself was, of course, the main event.

As I have said ad nauseum, I treasure these people and these friendships beyond measure. Without fail I come away from time spent with them feeling refreshed, encouraged, and inspired. Though I’m sure we will be stationed in various states (and maybe countries) throughout our lives and will pursue different careers, build new friendships, and spend less and less time together as our calendars get packed with family trips, kids’ soccer games, and job obligations, I just know that they will always hold a unique and irreplaceable spot in my heart. I hope everyone has such fun-loving, inspirational, and truly quality friends. I consider them one of God’s greatest gifts and most perfectly answered prayers in my life.

Weddings are beautiful, but when you see your close friends getting married, it’s beyond beautiful. It’s spectacular!

Congrats to Keith & Sarah. I don’t know her (I’m sure she’s wonderful) because ever since the graduation of 2007 when I met Keith (he was helping with parking or security or ???) he became one of my favorite people. Thanks for all of these pictures, that include a few of my other favorite people!
